RE: Australian Container Terminal Fees 1st April 2021

Unfortunately, there have been further increases to stevedore and empty container park fees in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth from the 1st of March.
The following tables indicate fees for the various Australian major ports that ACF shall apply from the 15th of April.

Long vehicle Access Fees – A Long Vehicle Access fee of $30.0 per container is now applicable for timeslots at
Patricks Sydney and Brisbane when serviced by A-Double trucks.

Side loader Access Fee – A side-loader Access fee of $95.00 per container will continue to be applied where
applicable.

Standard Clauses

  • All rates and surcharges are quoted in accordance with current terms and conditions of carriers selected by ACF and are subject to variation
    without notice. We reserve the right to amend quoted rates accordingly.
  • Rates are subject to equipment and space availability.
  • All fuel, security, BAF and CAF charges are subject to change with or without notice.
  • Transit times for all services are approximates advised by the carriers at the time and are subject to change.
  • All rates provided are based on in-gauge cargo unless stated otherwise. Rates for oversize, hazardous and perishable cargo are available upon
    request.
  • All third party disbursement fees paid out by ACF on your behalf shall incur a 3% levy unless otherwise negotiated.
  • Fuel surcharge for local transport is applied as a percentage of the quoted rate and reviewed monthly against the API reported average pump price index.

Fumigation

  • Any fumigation costs that may be applicable shall be passed onto importers for the AQIS prescribed origins. These charges will vary dependant on
    where the fumigation takes place.
  • Consignments affected by BMSB shall incur an administration fee of $49.50.

Hazardous Cargo/Dangerous Goods

  • All Hazardous cargo is subject to acceptance by the Shipping Line and Airline with any delays or non-acceptance not within ACF’s control.
  • Dangerous goods paperwork must be provided for all such shipments for both import and export. Failure to supply may result in delayed
    shipments and incur additional charges.

Rates

  • Any rates quoted are not applicable to personal effects, oversize, upper deck, valuable, perishable, dangerous or refrigerated cargo unless
    specifically quoted by ACF.

Seafreight FCL Deliveries

  • ACF will only review detention after 10 free working days from the first day of vessel availability.
  • ACF requires a minimum of 2 working days notification for de-hire of empty containers.
  • Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted Public Holidays are not considered working days.
  • ACF will not accept liability for container detention and/or container storage charges when the required notification and documents have not
    been provided in a timely manner.
  • All distances are calculated point to point using Google Maps www.googlemaps.com.au
  • Standard rates include 1 hour at delivery site and 30 minutes at empty return-park. Thereafter additional time will be charged at $125 per hour or
    part thereof.
  • Side-loader rates include 30 minutes at delivery site and 30 minutes at empty return-park. Thereafter additional time will be charged at $145 per
    hour or part thereof.
  • Public holiday and weekend surcharge will apply for containers collected over these days.
  • If the shipping line requests we return the empty to the wharf an additional AUD99.20 per container will be charged for the creation of PRA and
    slot bookings.
  • All FCL’s transported or handled within the port precinct in all cities shall have a Port Precinct Fee of AUD35.00 applied.
  • All FCL’s will have a Chain of Responsibility charge applied of AUD17.50 per FCL

FCL via Yard Fees

  • Any movement via yard will incur lifts and storage. After 2 days due to delivery restraints or sub-contract collections delays the yard storage shall
    be charged from date into yard to date out.

FCL Container Heavy Weight Surcharge

  • Heavy weight containers, being over 25 TN Standard trailer and 21 TN for side-loader including container tare weight, shall attract a heavy weight
    surcharge of $175 per container and $295 for side-loader metro delivery.
  • Attention is drawn to shippers and consignee’s obligations relating to the correct declaration of weight, commodity type and any hazardous
    shipments.

Toll Charges

  • Tolls are not included in the quoted pricing and will be invoiced at cost plus an administration fee.
